This is a nice German-made bow from the mid-20th century made in the style of the great H.R. Pfretzschner. This is a nice light bow that is great for fiddle players and violin players alike. It is easy to play, stable, reliable and always under control. It creates a sound that is full, large and on the warmer side. This bow would be an excellent choice for those looking for an upgrade to their bow.

The stick of this bow is made of pernambuco and the frog is of ebony. Silver mountings on the frog and screw; mother-of-pearl eye and slide.

The bow has been recently rehaired with top-quality Siberian hair by Oslo-based bow restorer and maker, Mette-Mari Hafslund Vea.
